Be Careful Because Most Pioneers Got Shot!
Is your pioneering spirit alive and well in your existing business plans

What happens in a western movie when a lone pioneer goes out west? Usually he gets shot, either full of arrows or bullets.
With that in mind, being a pioneer in today's business environment or being the first one to do anything brand new, is a risky business.
Yes, 1% strike it rich, but the other 99% end up shot full of holes.
In marketing your business, getting creative and inventing new things, has the potential of being the greatest thing since sliced bread, or, more than likely, a terrible waste of your time and money.
There is absolutely no need to pioneer a new money generating method.
Instead, look at what’s working for others and what’s been working in the past, year after year. Choose a proven successful business model, and then find ways to make it better.
My thoughts on inventing a new, untried business model, are that until you have at least 5 successful years under your belt in your current market, and are currently making 6 figures or more, you may wish to keep the status quo.
Then, and only then, should you try your luck at getting creative and boldly going where no marketer has gone before.
Yes, I know, I mixed my Western metaphor with my Star Trek metaphor.
But the point is - in case you missed it - that I don’t need to invent a new language to get my point across. For me, English will suffice. Basically, I can always use what’s already been proven to work.
And you don’t need to invent a new way of doing business, either (unless you’re Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, or Jeff Bezos, in which case, go for it.)
Find out what works and model that. It’s the best education you can get on what’s already been proven to work.
